Create & Connect Creativity and Wellbeing Courses

NOW FULL. Creativity & Wellbeing Course @ The Bothy Cirencester – Wednesday 19th April up to and including Wednesday 24th May 2017. Be inspired for the summer and join the Creativity and Wellbeing course at The Bothy. This six week course will include making a mosaic mirror and learning experimental watercolour techniques. The sessions will combine art activities with simple relaxation and breathing techniques to enhance wellbeing and creativity.  The course runs from 9.30 am – 12.30 pm at Vanessa Arbuthnott’s inspiring creative space at 12 Ashcroft Road, Cirencester. Cost of full course will be £160 including all materials, hot or cold drink and cake. Some spaces may be available for concessions at a reduced cost – please contact us to apply for a concession. 

Creativity and Wellbeing Workshop @ The Bothy in Cirencester Saturday 13th May 10 am – 3 pm. Come and join our fun day workshop and release your creative potential, be inspired and make something beautiful to take home. No previous experience necessary. During the session you can try the traditional techniques of mosaic making to create a mini framed mosaic and/or a create a felted 3D pot. Advance booking essential. Cost of workshop £40 for the day including all materials, hot or cold drinks and cake. Bring a sandwich to enjoy in the light filled studio space at lunchtime or go to one of the many good cafes in Cirencester for a bite to eat.



Create and Connect is run by sisters Emily and Sara Lawlor who have 30 years experience between them running arts and education programmes and have seen at first hand the powerful impact that taking part in the arts can have on personal health and wellbeing. The Creativity and Wellbeing courses at The Bothy are designed for anybody who wants to develop their creativity in a relaxing and sociable environment. The courses aim to provide an opportunity for participants to take time out of their normal routines to be creative together, have fun and feel uplifted!
